  A lengthy and bumpy road to a magnificent secluded wonder. Personally I preferred the “kissing cat” rock formation on the drive in.
  
  You need to have a flag on your 4WD to let people know you are coming.
  
  Before you leave you need to make sure you have enough supplies and baby wipes as there are only toilets with no water on site.

  Accommodation bookings only online: If you will not get back in time you need to make sure you book your accommodation before you leave home to get to this destination. There is no internet here.
  
  Environmental destruction:
  What is not great is that they continue to use the cheap black plastic tiles in areas that are predominately above forty degrees and in a forever summer. Do the national parks and traditional land owners care about the environment?
  
  Not accessible: As others have stated the walkway is only partially railed, but what is annoying is that the railing is there then not there, then there and then not there. As a person who has a hip injury, it left me crawling up the last bit.
  
  Toilets with no water: invest in large tanks for the toilets so people can wash their hands.

  Well worth the drive, but make sure you are prepared for a rough 4wd access road. Nice camping ground and picnic areas.

  Pretty amazing place to see and learn of its history. After a fairly lengthy drive ong the dirt road, some of which it only accessible by 4WD we reached chambers pillar. You are able to walk up to it and there are stair taking you up to it so you can walk along one side of it. Beware if you don't like heights, and some of the stair sections don't have handrails. But if that doesn't bother you it was beautiful to see and experience. Also has toilets

  Stunning formations and fascinating history. Amazing views of central Australia. Road in is corrugated and dusty. Camping available but need to be self sufficient.

  Brilliant...if you have a 4WD car it is well worth the 160klms drive to Chambers Pillar Nature Reserve. The road in is very corrigated & takes about 3hrs each way.
  There are 3 rock formations still standing in this area & they are all sensational...their colours are truely amazing. You can climb the Pillar & the views from the platform are Magical. The camping area is exceptional & a credit to the NT rangers. (There is one very steep & rough "Jump up" on the way.)
